Addy is a tall, lanky girl with hardly any curves to her name. She dresses like a tomboy, but she doesn't describe herself as one. She likes to wear subtle robes that are very nice, but very gender neutral. She has dirty blond hair that she wears long and most often loose, but occasionally in a braid down her back. She is pale, but her light hair does not offset it horribly. She often described as pretty, but never beautiful. She has hazel eyes that are very large. She dresses how she needs to for her work, which is very quiet and subtle.

Personality:
Addy is a vivacious and self assured person who deals with her shortcomings through humor. She is humble and respectful, but not quiet. She is loud and easy going and does wonderfully in social situations. She likes to have fun and joke around more then anything in the world. She loves her job, but wishes she could become an Auror.

When on the job, she tries to act serious and quiet, but struggles with maintaining decorum. She smiles a lot and is quick to give her opinion, but only if she is almost certain she is right. She is not one to volunteer information recklessly and is very cautious when its comes to all things her job. She is not clumsy, but rather graceful and has a good sense of balance. She does not pretend to be strong when she is not, in fact, she never pretends and tries not to lie unless it is necessary.

She is an open book of emotions and is giving to crying and laughing easily, along with a temper that is quick to attack but slow to forgive. She has a weak stomach and has been known to faint at horrible news or sights. This is the main reason she has not passed Auror testing, besides the fact that she does not support the killing of fugitives. She always tries to capture when possible and has even let a few individuals escape, but she manages to get off.

She is a horrible flirt and is oblivious to manners of the heart. She is slow to pick up on hints, but quick to follow orders exactly. She is loyal and friendly and will do anything to protect the Ministry and the Witches and Wizards of the world. She is brave, but not foolhardy. She is most often then naught described as innocent and naive.

History:
John Murphy knew that his wife was a witch, however, he was not sure how to deal with the fact that all their children would be magical. When Alice Murphy became pregnant for the fifth time, it was to the only girl in the family, little Adelaide. As the youngest and only girl, she was spoiled by her four older brothers; John Jr, Jamie, Quin, and Alexander. Everyone knew her as 'Little Adelaide' and it was not until she turned seven and began to display signs of magic that some started to call her Addy. Her mother taught her Muggle basics, like reading and arithmetic, at home. She knew her daughter would only be confused by Muggle Schools.

John Murphy was a Muggle Policeman, so from a young age Addy heard tales of her Daddy defending the city from bad guys. She watched with considerable sadness as each of her brothers (Alex being four years older) each went off to Hogwarts. They came home and practiced magic and performed tricks for their little sister and gave her magical candy and trinkets. Slowly, John and Alice aged and as Addy went off for her first year of Hogwarts, they were in their late forties.

At Hogwarts, she experienced wonderful things in magic and was sorted in Hufflepuff; she was smart, but not smart enough for Ravenclaw. She was brave, but not enough for Gryffindor. She was not crafty enough to be in Slytherin either. She learned to love Defense Against the Dark Arts, it brought her closer to her father and his Muggle Policeman days. Her brothers graduated and got jobs and left the house and she was left there, to look after her aging parents.

When Addy graduated from Hogwarts, it was with high hopes of the future and the support of her parents and brothers. Her brother Alex, the one she'd always been closest too, was an Auror. He knew how much she loved the field so he arranged for her to go through the training and get tested. She managed to complete the training and passed the test, but was turned down in favor of stronger applicants. She was shuffled along into the Magical Law Enforcement Department, but she has never given up dreams of being an Auror.

She currently lives in London, not far from the Ministry. Her parents live in a nearby suburb and she visits them often. Her brothers still play an active role in her life, and Alex continues to try to help her become and Auror like him.
