Wimbleton’s wings were tired. He’d been dropping off messages all day. The message currently attached to his leg was from the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry had taken it upon themselves to send out a letter to every citizen of the Wizarding World.
As he reached the window, he hooted loudly in appreciation as it was opened. Landing, Wimbleton extended his leg, taking a moment to catch his breath as the scroll of parchment was removed and unrolled. It read:
Dear sir or madam:
Please read this letter carefully, as it contains important information regarding the Ministry's plans to restore peace and secruity to the Wizarding World.
As you may be aware, the Ministry has begun taking multiple precautions in response to the recent Death Eater attacks in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Some feel that the Ministry is acting out of line and that the actions taken are unnecessary. The Ministry, however, feels otherwise.
The Ministry believes in providing a safe environment and plans to hold to that belief. Its objective is to work in the best interest of the community it serves. Threats to society are absolutely unacceptable. The Ministry gladly offers its professional protection from dangerous felons, especially those involved in the Dark Arts. The Ministry wants to assure all witches and wizards that it is doing everything in its power to find and arrest these criminals and hopes that you will support their efforts to return the Wizarding World to a safe state.
