Name: Napoleon Gray
Age/Year: 13/ Second year
Occupation: Hogwarts student
Appearance:
b]Personality[/b]: Napoleon is a very energetic student with a passion for adventure and learning. It's his second year at Hogwarts and he still isn't very skilled at finding his way around, not used to living in such a large abode, a castle as it is, but he doesn't really mind, he could spend hours watching the paintings. He is a painfully slow eater, as so much to feast upon and he loves gazing up at the Great Hall ceiling which reflects the weather. You can see him sprinting through the halls on any given day, trying to catch his next class. Although his excuses for being tardy are all true, his professors don't always believe him.
Napoleon is very loyal. He's a very youthful chipper boy and always is carrying a cheeky smile on his face. He can be cheerful when you need him to be, and serious when the situation calls for it. He understands people well and is a friend when you most need one. He's quick on his feet and though he may not always use his head, he gets decent grades and he enjoys focusing hard on his studies. He admires the Prefects with their shiny badges, though he knows he will never be one with his tardiness and daring stunts he pulls every once in awhile when he's feeling risky. He has a pet turtle by the name of Speed Limit, whom he carried around in his robe pockets, he likes to let him swim in any fountains he comes across. He has in mind to feed Mrs. Norris, a stink pellet one of these days, and will anticipate Filch's reaction eagerly.
History: Napoleon comes from Jersey, England, right off the Isle in the country side. Raised an only child, Napoleon was never spoiled, he wasn't able to be when the son of a small town professor. His Mother is a seamstress part time for a tailor shop in their little shoreline town. Napoleon was home schooled, taught in the evenings by his Father. Most days were uneventful, clipping hedges part time for a golf link, meager wages but an honest job, and helping out with the chores at home, studying his lessons.
His family was a simple one, Napoleon couldn't help but be lonely at times, the next home was a good five miles away. Napoleon was a small town boy with big dreams, he knew he could be something bigger than this, if only he could find it. He dreamed of a real education, of going to some far off place, he had never been out of Jersey before.
One day a letter came for Napoleon, he was surprised to say the least. He hardly ever received letters in the mail addressed specifically to him. He had fingered it curiously, and was a little bewildered to find it had no stamp. It was heavy parchment, yellowed and crisp. Inside the envelope he found a letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. Thus began a new world for Napoleon Gray, full of new adventures and lessons to be learned. Every school year, he catches a ferry to London, where he boards the Hogwarts Express. He likes spending the holidays and breaks at home in Jersey with his parents and writes to them whenever time allows. He knows they'll never quite understand the things he's seen and learned, but they still support him, and that's all Napoleon could ever ask for. Like all Muggle born students at Hogwarts, it can be hard at times to handle the taunting that comes from the pure bloods, but Napoleon doesn't let it get to him, he works hard at his studies and is eager to make accomplishments he can be proud of.
