Tall, 6 ft 2, thin build, he's quite lean with dark brown hair, pale skin and medium-sized green eyes. Some say he sort of looks like a deer, though the girls generally find him handsome.
Personality: Zandar is a quiet soul and never speaks more than he has to. He is deliberate, kind, gentle and a bit of an introvert. He loves his job at the Ministry working with defense, DADA had always been his favourite in school. While at Hogwarts, he had been in Ravenclaw, a devout students getting the highest marks in his class. he was also Head Boy at Hogwarts and Prefect as well. Zandar loves to read,loves muggle winter sports, flying, quidditch, poetry, drawing and anything related to the arts.
History: Zandar is muggle-born and the only other wizarding links he can think of are his second cousin Lucinda Bowtruckle (nee Matteo) and his great aunt Moira Matteo. Apparently his great great great great grandfather was also a powerful wizard, or so the family tree states, but one can't be too sure. In any event, Zandar was always the quiet one in their family of five. His mother Allissa Matteo is a dentist and his father, Bryson Matteo is a firefighter, both in the Yorkshire countryside. His older sister, Romilda Abrigane is 28 and is married to Tobias Abrigane and together they have a son named Nathaniel who is just shy of 5 years old. Both Romilda and Tobias are medical doctors who live in London. Zandar also has an older brother named Lucas who is 28, and Romilda's twin. He works with Doctors Without Borders and travels frequently with his wife, Freida who also works with the organization. Last but not least is Zandar's younger sister Bertha who is 17 years old and is getting ready to attend the University of Toronto, in Canada next year.
