This is a Harry Potter roleplay game taking place after Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts. To allow for certain freedoms, the roleplay is technically Alternate Universe (meaning certain facts from canonical universe will be altered to suit the roleplay).
But WHY? Honestly, to make things more interesting. What fun is there in reenacting what has already happened in the series? It also leaves more wiggle room for characters (for instance, should any previously deceased characters be sought after, we may allow them to exist within this universe).
It, likewise, leaves some wiggle room in the relationship department. While certain relationships have become canon, this can be altered in the RPG. This does NOT mean you should completely disregard what has happened until the sixth book (i.e., like it or not, Ron/Hermione has been hinted at since the first book - this does not mean Ron/Hermione is a mandatory relationship; merely keep in mind we are trying to remain true to the characters.)

While there is no age limit on our roleplay, there is a PG-13 rating. Members should be willing and able to write thoughtful posts while remaining true to the character.
