Name: Lucia Romaniv
Age: 20
Occupation: Barmaid at the Snake's Stein if you're nosy. Death Eater is her... more permanent title, though.
Appearance: Tall and slender with hardly any figure. Her hair is a dark brown and surrounds a thin, olive toned face. Her Northern European (Romanian, and Greek with some small Celtic bits) heritage shows through in her oddly exotic features. She's neither beautiful or ugly to be truthful. Her septum is crooked and hints at a nose break at some early point in her life.
Personality: She's either extremely stubborn or fairly agreeable, depending on who's talking to her. Her nature is quite defensive to anyone who defies Voldemort but she can easily sound confusing and is sometimes a victim to her own conundrums. She's devoted to the Dark Lord, albeit for the wrong reasons but that's a different story, and she shows the same loyalty for her fellow Death Eaters. Almost considering them friends. Almost. She's a fairly cold person but has her laughing side when she lets her guard down. People like Kiana can't help but make her chuckle, even if it's so quiet nobody can hear.
History: Lucia comes from a fairly wizardly diverse family. They've got the good and the bad and even some of the ugly. Her parents are of highly mixed blood and never even mentioned blood status as an issue as they have fairly neutral opinions on the matter. All four houses are represented somewhere near her on the family tree and when she was sorted into Slytherin and began acting the rebel her parents thought it was just an only child phase or something. It wasn't, though. During her time at Hogwarts she delved deeper and deeper into the 'wrong crowd'. A younger Kiana Ridgedale stuck to her like glue her last two years of school and she welcomed the girl's attention and friendship. After graduation though, she soon left everything and everybody behind to go out on her own.
She officially disowned her parents, an act that broke their hearts, when she turned 17 and as soon as she was legal and out of Hogwarts she let the rebellion inside of her take control and lead her wherever it might go. This didn't bode well at first. Inns were expensive and jobs were hard to come by when you didn't particularly excel at anything in school. Lucia spent over a year living, as some would say, on the streets. She prefers to think of this as her "Nomad" period. At 19 she found herself feeling more and more comfortable around some of the darker areas in the Wizarding world.
On a particular excursion through Knockturn Alley (Where she found the best source of jobs and lodging for a young woman like herself) she ran into her once-parasitic friend, Kiana. Upon seeing her left arm it wasn't long before a matching mark branded her own olive skin. Lucia probably still couldn't tell anyone why she agrees with Voldemort. She just does. Lucia is young and impressionable and joined the Death Eaters honestly because it was the most convenient and parent-resistant course of action. She feels more at home with her dark cohorts than in the warm embrace of her parent's loving home. It may not make any sense but then again, nobody ever said that Lucia did that.
