Appearance: Clytemnestra is tall and knife-thin. Her hair is pale blond and her eyes a sharp blue that always seem to glitter in a way that suggests she stands slightly to the left of center as far as sanity goes. She was born into a poor family and now that she has money in her pocket, she defiantly dresses at the height of fashion whenever she goes out. She holds herself like a queen – if queens tended to be murderous, spiteful, and bigoted.
Personality: Clytemnestra is a firm believer in Voldemort’s ideology. She despises all Muggle-borns and blood-traitors. In fact, she would prefer if every drop of Muggle blood was purged from the wizarding world. She has a special place in her hateful heart for squibs, which she views as freaks of nature. She naturally chooses to ignore the fact that her own family can only claim middling purity. She is also more than mildly sadistic. While she cannot claim Bellatrix Lestrange’s love for the Cruciatus Curse, she certainly has never balked at using it. Clytemnestra’s personal favorite spell is the Imperius Curse. Nothing pleases Clytemnestra more than seeing the Dark Lord’s enemies do her bidding.
History: Clytemnestra was born into a poor working-class family in northern Scotland. She spent her formative years working alongside her parents to keep food in the pantry. She attended Hogwarts and was placed in Gryffindor, much to her parents’ surprise. However, that did not in any way prevent her from learning about Voldemort and his philosophy. As soon as she graduated, she left her home and happily accepted the Dark Mark. The Death Eaters were easier to locate in those times; all it took was a few words spoken to the correct seedy barman. She was arrested a few years after Voldemort’s mysterious defeat in Godric’s Hallow. She spent ten years in Azkaban, which has only sharpened her viscous tendencies. She fled the prison along with many of her comrades in the recent mass escape. She has been quietly, but devotedly serving her lord ever since. In order to keep herself in fine robes, she works at Zonko’s Joke Shop under the name of Henrietta Martin. She appreciates the irony and also enjoys the shop’s strategic nearness to Hogwarts.
