Personality: Phoebe has a very bitter attitude towards almost everything and in general everyone. She seems to take some sort of joy in insulting the people around her as if it were a hobby whether or not she is provoked into doing it. Most of what she says would involve some amount of sarcasm. Anything that seems remotely happy is sure to upset her in some fashion, and she often writes off people as being too foolish, optimistic, and stupid. She has little patience with people and is known to be very stubborn paired with quite the temper, which can lead to even more insulting remarks, a loss of accuracy should she be aiming at something, and increased chances for projectiles or hexes being thrown.
She dislikes sweets of any kind, in particular cakes, and cannot stand to hear anything about weddings without incinerating or exploding something. At the mention of any sort of relationship involving love, whether it is a pair of newlyweds or a budding couple, she is likely to get quite upset and therefore angry.
It is entirely possible to earn her respect since she has respect for people with positions of authority. She has no desire to put her job into jeopardy, and therefore acts accordingly. There are a few traits in people that she would deem tolerable, although she is unlikely to get along very well with anyone that has a hard time handling a petty remark. She does have the tendency to get attached to people, although very reluctantly so, and would refuse to admit to having anything more than tolerance for someone.
The only real positive trait that she possesses is her strong sense of justice and desire to see it carried out.
History: In Hogwarts she was a Hufflepuff student and quite a well known member of her class. Her profile was a relatively happy and friendly girl who was always willing to go the extra mile in order to help out someone in need. She excelled in school due to her intellect and was an active Quidditch player from her fifth year to her seventh year playing as a chaser. She fell in love with the captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, a fellow chaser named Damon Haywood, who was an attractive, charming and headstrong young man. They were engaged shortly after they graduated from Hogwarts.
After her school life, Phoebe and Damon both aspired to be reporters for the Daily Prophet with the intention of getting married once they had some success with their careers. They took up internship positions where they met with Eunice Winfield as a fellow intern. The three began to spend more time together, and after some time it was notable that Damon spent far more time with Eunice than Phoebe ever did. It was quite a while before Phoebe had any suspicions about the two of them, but she was never able to confront Damon and Eunice about what was going on.
The happy couple decided to break the news to Phoebe by sending her their wedding invitation. They of course hoped that she would come to wish them good luck, however that was not the case. Phoebe promptly opted for an opening at the Ministry of Magic where she could get as far away as possible from the two of them, and it is quite safe to say that she no longer considers either one a dear friend.
