Personality: A bright, hip young lady. Artemis is very energetic, and simply fun to be around. She has the amazing ability to make people laugh, and make light of the darkest situations. However, she is not naiive. She's often up to date on everything happening in the world, wizarding or muggle. She's amazingly intelligent, but she doesn't tell anyone about it, she's the farthest thing from smug. She never gloats about accomplishments, and is very humble. But, with her chipper and boistrous manner, she sometimes comes off as cocky. She always seems happy and cheerful, but thats only because nobody can really tell when she's sad. Her father always says "She's like the anti dementor, always bringing joy wherever she goes."
History: Upon leaving Hogwarts as a Gryffindor graduate, Artemis had a bright future. She was near the top of her class, with only 2 Ravenclaws ahead of her. Naturally, she had many job offerings, mostly from the ministry. Instead, Artemis decided to become a healer. In her years at Hogwarts, she always researched the art of healing, and had the tendencey to follow Madam Pomfrey around, absorbing what she could. Madame Pomfrey hadn't minded, as the girl was so kind, and always helped out.
Artemis's obsession with healing and making people feel better comes from her childhood. She never knew much of her mother, she had been murdered by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named followers in his last stint of power. After her mothers death, her father became quite sickly, ravished with depression, leaving little Artemis to do her best and make him feel better. Eventually, her father got better from his initial illness, but since then, the poor man has been quite sickly. Artemis always found ways to make him feel better, whether it be by joking or making potions from some of her mothers old books. Her father absolutely adores her, and call her "Arty" lovingly.
Now, her childhood obsession has become an amazing talent to heal. And now that she's finally out of Hogwarts, Artemis is excited to start work as a healer. Especially now that there are so many people that need her abilities.
