House: Slytherin
Blood Status: Though JK Rowling once referred to the Greengrass family as pureblood in an interview, as it is not canon, Daphne will simply come from a primarily wizarding family.
Wand: Birch, 9 ½ inches with a core of merfolk hair.
Appearance: 5’6” and very blonde, Daphne gives off an air of distinct stupidity. She has wide, rather vacant eyes and can often be found flipping through trashy Wizarding publications about the Modern Witch.
Personality: As far as Slytherins go, Daphne is not particularly mean. This is because the act of being mean takes active thinking, and, well, Daphne is not what one would call an active thinker. Instead Daphne is vacantly cheerful and is only vicious when alongside her housemate and friend, Pansy Parkinson. As far as studying goes-… well, it’s a practice Daphne takes little part in. The one class she scores high marks in is Potions and that’s solely on account of being a Slytherin.
History: Born into a well-to-do Wizarding family, Daphne’s homelife was very much like that of the Malfoys, sans the Dark Lord Voldemort. The Greengrasses have bragged of their purebloodedness, though few believe their claims as Purebloods have died out save for a handful of families.
Though Daphne herself is not involved in the Death Eater movement, her family has been placed under suspicion by the Ministry following the recent break-out and subsequent attacks. Daphne pays it all little mind, though, as she’s never been one to worry… she has neither the patience nor the attention span to.
