Personality: Max is as loyal as they come. He tends to have all the traits of a golden retriever. He's loyal, friendly and fun loving. Max also adores sports. Once he got his letter for Hogwarts he wanted to know what sports were in the wizarding word right away. When he discovered quidditch he became attracted to it immediately. He has a wonderful personality but some of his friends think he is a bit too carefree.
He opts for a "It'll all work out" attitude and can seem lazy sometimes if he isn't careful. Max is someone who stops to smell the roses or look at the clouds. He lives life on the edge more then none too. He believes that you only live once and you should get what you can out of life before your time is up. Live now or not at all. Just don't call him his full name. He can't stand it.
History: Max is a muggle born. He grew up in a small town and participated in football, baseball, basketball, street hockey and even skateboarding! When he was ten years old, Max's family moved to Great Britain after the many vacations they had taken there. He grew up like most boys his age. His mother owned a flower shop and his father was the towns football coach. Some in school would refer to Max as a prep until they got to know him well. His personality and down to earth nature are something hard to resist. Max is just too friendly.
When he got his letter for Hogwarts his parents (after they accepted this was real and not a prank) were a bit scared to send him off on his own. He insisted he'd be fine and wanted to go so his parents did not argue it out with him. Max was very excited to attend Hogwarts. While his father supported him in his decision he noted that his mother seemed less then pleased...But he did not dwell on it.
His first three years were great and he met a lot of people fast. Max can be a popular guy but its just because of his personality. A lot of the more stuck up kids tend to avoid him when they find out what he's like. His personality can also drive people away. They get frustrated with him easy. Max has very few friends who are 'close' to him.
